Washington
University offers its student meal plan as an all points or "declining balance" program.
Students may choose one of four Kosher meal plan options priced at
15% over the comparable standard residential
(non-kosher) meal plans. The price difference reflects the additional expense of kosher
food preparation. Kosher food is prepared under rabbinic supervision from the Vaad Hoeir
of St. Louis. Dinners are provided in Center Court and at St. Louis Hillel Center.
Pre-packed Kosher foods also available at various locations on campus. Additionally,
participants in a Kosher Meal Plan receive a 30%
discount at the register on all Kosher food prepacks.
Students on one of the Kosher Meal plans receive:
Special prices on Shabbat Dinners at St. Louis Hillel Center.
Special prices on hot meals at Center Court
Discounts (30%) on "prepacks" available at many WU Dining Services locations.
